North Central receives positive feedback after Higher Learning Commission visit
The Higher Learning Commission visited North Central College for reaccreditation evaluation during Jan. 25-27.
Reaccreditation takes place every ten years on campuses nationwide. The HLC, the accrediting agency for institutions in America’s North Central region, conducts accreditation.

The reaccreditation involves five types of criteria including Mission and Integrity, Preparing for the Future, Student Learning and Effective Teaching, Acquisition, Discovery, and Application of Knowledge and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the plans and if it's apparent on campus.
